Are you one of those who doesn't forget a face? Do you dare prove it? Today we launch "Face Formation", a body schema worksheet for adults.
The patient has to complete a face by choosing the appropriate features and placing them correctly. There will be several different eyes, mouths, noses, etc, and the patient will have to choose the correct ones to successfully complete the correct face.
To boot, “Face Formation” has different levels: basic, easy, medium, difficult and advanced. The occupational therapist can choose the level for each patient according to their abilities. As the level increases, the patient will have more difficulties to find the correct face features because there will be similar eyes, mouth and noses to choose from. We are sure that you will laugh a lot with this activity!
In addition, the worksheet is available in digital and paper format.
Body Schema is the main cognitive function worked in this worksheet, in other words, the ability to recognize and mentally perceive the body as a whole and its various parts, development of the movements that can be done with each, and orientation of the body in space.
In addition, we recommend you take a look at the paper version of this worksheet as well.
The patient will have to cut the different face features and, after that, they have to complete the face, putting the missing parts in the right place. This makes this activity a very useful and entertaining task for patients.
We are convinced that combining digital cognitive stimulation with paper cognitive stimulation helps to improve the patient´s abilities.
“Face Formation” is not the only NeuronUP exercise to improve reasoning. We have already created several exercises to work this cognitive function. Here are some examples:
