NeuronUP begins New Year with the launch of two new exercises to work the attention, one focused on adults and another on kids.
Attention activities for adults: “Hidden letter”
“Hidden letter” is the new exercise of cognitive rehabilitation of NeuronUP. The working process is really easy: the users have to look for a specific letter among a group of letters, as many times as it appears.
This exercise is a generator which allows the user to generate infinite activities that can be personalized for each user. We can choose the size of matrix (colums/ rows), the letters (capital letters, lowercase letters or capital and lowercase letters), and if we want our users to work with letters with or without colors. Besides the activity is available in both digital and paper versions.
The main cognitive function that works “Hidden letter” is selective attention.
Attention activities for kids: “Find the double”
The younger users of NeuronUP also start the year with new activities, in this case with a new exercise to work the attention. “Find the double” is an ideal activity for the therapists who want to work attention with kids in a funny way.
This game consists on find, as quickly as possible, the repeated element. All objects in the game are objects of daily living, which are familiar to all users: clothes (shoes, pants, shirts), school supplies (backpack, pencil, pencil sharpener) or food (milk, water, pizza).
The cognitive function that works this activity is the selective attention and the processing speed.
“Hidden letter” and “Find the double” are the first two exercises of the year, but we will launch many more and varied activities.
